The City of North Miami, located about 14 miles north of downtown Miami in northeast Miami-Dade County, Florida, was originally settled in the late 19th century, with its current charter established in 1952.

Network Security Initiatives
Network security has been a top priority for the Town of Davie—as it has been for many public and private IT organizations—for several years. In response, AIP US assisted the Town of Davie in implementing a multi-vendor, layered security strategy that includes:

Station 86 – Fire Station & Community Center
Most recently, the Town of Davie IT Department began building out a state-of-the-art Fire Station and Community Center (Station 86). AIP US partnered with Davie IT to design and implement a robust architecture for this facility, which includes:

BGP Multi-homing Routing of Internet-facing traffic with two diversified ISPs

Provisioning of ARIN public IP address spaces to enable seamless routing, failover, and optimized connectivity

VXLAN capabilities to support proper replication of data and private Cloud infrastructure
This architecture ensures real-time replication, high availability, and seamless user access to mission-critical applications across the Town.
